KISS AND RUN: The Single, Picky, and Indecisive Girl’s Guide to Overcoming Her Fear of Commitment.
By Elina Furman
What a good book! She’s thought of everything, and mentioned everything (including sitting home alone with your Rabbit), zeroed in on all our excuses, uncovered our stupid assumptions, and given us ways to deal with our foolishness. She’s frank, funny, and smart.
I thought I would fit in one of her categories (Nitpicker, Serial Dater, Tinker Bell, Free Spirit, Damsel in Distress, Player, Long-Distance Runner), but I was all of them, except the Nitpicker and the Damsel in Distress. I have serial dated to be sure that if one man dumps me there will always be plenty of others; I’ve chased unavailable men one after the other, I’m a free spirit who can’t bear the idea of being kept from what I need to do, have been a player moving casually from one man to another, and I’ve also been a long-distance runner, moving from one long, serious relationship to another.
Elina read my mind, and her book hitched me up just enough to make a commitment to just one man. She really helped me do that. She did! I feel relieved, contented, and sane.
Elina is clever, deep, well organized, and right on. Here’s where you can buy her book http://www.kissrunbook.com/
